#2 Remember Me

Why Was It Chosen?

This is one of those love it or hate it games. I just happened to love it.

I’m a sucker for a game that manages to capture the look of its own concept art perfectly – much like The Last of Us. Remember Me manages to have vistas that are almost indistinguishable from its artwork. It’s hard to believe this game is actually running on the Unreal Engine – it looks nothing like your typical Unreal game.

The gameplay is the only thing that really holds the game back. While I love the combo system and the way combos are actually useful for more than just damage, it doesn’t feel as polished as other, similar titles such as the Arkham games, or Sleeping Dogs.

A sleeper gem from a relatively unknown, but extremely talented development team that disappointingly slipped under the radar.
